01Mold production /Maintenance
The metal die plays the most important role in the accuracy of stamped products.
From machining, assembly, calibration, prototyping to finishing, we have a thorough control system in place.
We always check for problems with our metal dies and perform thorough maintenance such as sharpening cutting edges, replacing parts and making readjustments.
02Stamping
Single-shot stamping
Single-shot stamping uses a single die to perform the entire process. The product is produced through a series of processes that are set and processed by a human operator.
Progressive stamping
Progressive stamping is the first process in which coil material is processed to cut out rough shapes called blanks. Products are sent sequentially to each die for processing into a finished product, hence the term progressive stamping.
Transfer Die Stamping
The dies for all processes are housed in a single press machine, enabling efficient production of complex products that require multiple presses and can be transferred automatically without manual intervention.
RY Robot Line Stamping
RY is a manufacturing process in which a robotic arm is placed between a series of presses and used to transport and place semi-finished products, which are blanks processed by progressive stamping.
03Welding
Spot welding
Spot welding is a type of resistance welding in which a high voltage is briefly applied while two overlapping plates are clamped and pressurized with water-cooled electrodes. The resistance heat generated between the plates melts the plates around the point of contact, welding the two plates together at a single point.
Projection welding
Projection welding is a resistance welding process in which a projection is made at the weld point of the base metal, then an electric current is focused on the projection to simultaneously heat and pressure weld the base metal.
CO2 welding
CO2 welding is a type of arc welding that uses carbon dioxide as a shielding gas to prevent oxidation of the molten metal. It is classified as semi-automatic arc welding because the welding wire is fed automatically.
Carbon Monoxide Ventilation System
We are extremely careful with ventilation and air conditioning because a reaction between an arc discharge and carbon dioxide produces carbon monoxide, which is dangerous to humans.
04Cationic electrodeposition coating
Electrodeposition coating is a process in which the product is immersed in electrodeposition paint and a direct current is applied to the product to charge and electrodeposit the paint film components onto the product surface. When the product is used as the cathode, it is called "Cationic electrodeposition".
With this technique, a uniform and thick coating film can be formed even on products with complex shapes.
THAI IKEDA is the only company capable of tin-free cationic automotive electrocoating.
It is tin-free and compatible with all automotive standards.
05Cutting
Cutting is a machining process that uses cutting tools to cut and shave an object.
We provide lathes, machining centers, etc. for secondary processing of pressed products and machining of materials, depending on the processing conditions.
One of our strengths is our ability to source low-cost special non-ferrous steel products from our group companies in Vietnam.
By partnering with tooling manufacturers, we are able to process with the most appropriate cutting tools.
06Quality control / Quality assurance
Quality Control Department
We perform a wide variety of management tasks, ranging from machinery and equipment, raw materials, etc., to each manufacturing process, inspection, shipping, employee training, customer service, and the environment.
Quality Assurance Department
By thoroughly testing our products with a variety of measuring instruments, we guarantee the quality of the products we produce every day.
